Barack Hussein Obama II is one of the most admired personalities in the world. He is the present President of the United States of America. He also represented the democratic primary election for the United States Senator from his hometown, Illinois. His victory in the U.S. Senate in November 2004 was another milestone in the diary.

Obama won the party's nominations as a result of a very close campaign (from 2007) against Hillary Rodham Clinton. It was in the year 2008, where Hillary represented Democratic Party. Obama defeated Republican nominee John McCain in the general election (2008) and was elected the 44th president on January 20, 2009. Barack Obama is also the 2009 Nobel Peace Prize laureate.
