According to election news there are some interesting notables that are running in this election. The first one is Sarah Palin. Now I am sure this name is recognizable. She is the former Governor of Alaska and the 2008 Vice Presidential candidate. There was much to be said about her during the presidential election in 2008. She did give the whole country a fresh perspective and for many something to be excited about. Since then she has appeared on the Oprah Winfrey show and even now has a reality show of her own. She has associated herself with the Tea Party movement, endorsing and campaigning for several candidates in the 2010 midterm elections. She is a possible candidate in the 2012 presidential election. Election news also states that one of the Republican parties' hopefuls is Ron Paul. He is Texas's 14th congressional district representative. In 1998 he won the Republican primary. In 2006 Paul won again for his 10th term. In 2007 Paul announced his candidacy for United States President. Time will tell where and how he shows in this race. It is obvious, as history has shown; the time leading up to the 2012 Presidential Election will be an interesting one indeed.
Over this time we will see poll after poll attempting to inform us or sway us to see things. Questions are being asked of our now President. Many are wondering if he has too many hurdles to face in order to be re-elected. Many are questioning if he has done enough over the last 4 years to make voters confident to re-elect him. I am quite sure there are supporters of both sides of this. History and prior behavior is a good indicator of future behavior. Yet it is also important to see what all the candidates do leading up to this election. We as electors need to see where their views are. We are given a very important role in any election. With our knowledge and wisdom we are to choose who will run our country. This is no small task, for them or for electors. Technically the current United States President Barack Obama is the 43rd unique president. This is because Grover Cleveland was 22 and 24. Yet whether you see Obama as the 43rd or 44th president doesn't matter. The fact is that many presidents have had the control of our country. The 2012 election will see president 4 or will it be 45. This will depend on how you view it. Regardless of whether they are seen as 44 or 45 let's just hope that the best candidate wins.
