Derek Dashwood reads that while another billion people are more free and have been lived from abject poverty to low income. Education, health, clean water, are still needed in so many places including rural China. But progress is being made and seems likely to continue

So many lumps of coal, so few diamonds. And so it seems with people some times when they go mad, and prove absolutely their crusade, holy lands are better than my jihad. All you loving lumps of coal all blind in your rage. Any monk in Tibet would know his own place. As one said to the camera, why does Hans China not go back to his place? Even Red Bear Ivan left Kabul, with blood on his face. Why not Red Big Panda follow that case? Go home back to Moscow, Beijing, or New York. All Big Pandas who bully make meditating hard work.
And when you think how the present Dahli Lhama was picked in his youth, since the arrival of the first holy man from India shortly after the death of gentle Buddha (560-480 B.C.E.)they have searched after the death of each holy leader at the babies born after. It may take them years, but each holy man must agree: they are truly looking into the diamond eyes of God in this newborn child.
If you follow the dates of famous historic figures with me some mystery seems to take coal dust off our eyes. We know that Buddha evolved such a network of holy men who followed his eight paths to bliss and who moved north, east and west enough that Tibet, and much of nearby east Asia, follow the meditative gentle ways of Buddha. And if we look at only the second half of the life of Gautama Buddha between 560 to 480 B.C.E., by then history records that followers of the Buddha who believed in one Nirvana and a governing divinity.
To Buddha, only those who attained the natural purity of being good by a person who gave much, asked little, and go to a better place in peace. No stern commandments, no man at the gate, if he was truly of God, he would see it in our eyes, sparkling diamonds or lumps of coal. Alexander (356-323 B.C.E.
Therefore, it seems to me that suggests that three disciples of Buddha from an ancient culture met a tribe in skins and huts near Athens about 520 B.C.E. And by the time of the lifetime of Socrates between 469 to 399 B.C.E. the people of Athens began to talk of free speech and opinions for all, and I think this is another hint that jump started western civilization. Three wise men had been as far west as from Athens to Cairo in 520 B.C.E. One found an Eden in west Egypt, Alexander almost died going to meet him at an oasis far west where there were no people.
And while that might be news to some, it somehow fits, perhaps with both the birth of baby Jesus, and later at the birth of baby Mohammed that a visit from three wise men from the east, saw diamonds in eyes in each man. If you can believe that, I can. And in truth, if we all pray to that same God or Allah or what he may be called somewhere else, why and how can we be such lumps of coal? While Hans China batons skulls in saffron robes, Hans German long stopped that bad stuff.
Even in old Casablanca, it is now understood, Hans German, Rick and Louie all smoke the peace pipe. They have all invited north Africa, the old Roman core, join them again. No passport from Casablanca to Rome. Even up into Germany, can you believe that? Night light in Berlin, then up to the land of the Lap. From Cairo to Oslo, Lisbon to Istanbul, some very diamond like thinking it will take from this present mess of coal.
But if German Hans and Louie, and Swedes seem to agree, a wider Metro Europe would be better you see. And we say capital idea, a really fine gem. We should all be like diamonds, in our eyes, hearts and souls. And not watch as it happens all too often, diamonds of peace should not feel what is to meet bomb, bayonet or baton, wielded and sent by bully men with eyes of coal, and the wrong ones end up in the fire.
For this life, the cameras now follow, and diamonds blaze and they glow, from Tibet to all us, down here below. We can only meditate and pray, and look into each coal eyed mans face, and say you insult humanity's grace.
