History doesn't look too kindly on one-term Presidents. The likes of George Bush Sr, Jimmy Carter, William Taft and Herbert Hoover. They are looked about as a failure which is why they weren't re-elected. Is Barack Obama heading down this path?
It is hard to even imagine that the question is asked. He was elected with such fanfare and enthusiasm but most of the hype has faded.
